    Rome – Assisi – Siena – Florence – Padua – Venice – Verona – Sirmione (Lake Garda) – Lake Como – Milan 

    Day 1 – Monday:  Rome – Assisi – Siena – Florence. 

    07h30 Departure by coach and multilingual tour escort to Assisi.  Visit the mystic town of Saint Francis which is still surrounded by its ancient walls.  Visit the Basilica of Saint Francis with its early Renaissance masterpieces by Girotto and Cimabue.  We continue towards Siena, the beautiful medieval city renowned for the Palio.  Proceed to Florence.  Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

    Day 2 – Tuesday: Florence. 

    American buffet breakfast.  Guided sightseeing tour of the cradle of the Renaissance.  Visit the beautiful Piazza del Duomo, the cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, Giotto’s Bell Tower, the Baptistery of St. John, the Academy of Fine Arts Gallery housing the “David” by Michelangelo and Santa Croce, the 13th century Franciscan church with Cimabue’s famous crucifix.  The rest of the day is at leisure for optional sightseeing (suggested option is the Pisa half day tour) or shopping.  Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

    Day 3 – Wednesday: Florence – Padua – Venice. 

    American buffet breakfast.  Departure to Venice via Padua, where you will visit the famous Cathedral of St. Anthony, guarded by Donatello’s “Gattamelata”.  Continue towards Venice and upon arrival, enjoy a guided walking tour of this unique city.  You will see the Piazza and Basilica of St. Mark, the Doge’s Palace, the Bridge if Sighs and the Prisons.  Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

    Day 4 – Thursday: Venice. 

    American buffet breakfast.  Morning tour to a glass factory in Murano (optional shopping) by motor boat.  Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

    Day 5 – Friday: Venice – Verona – Sirmione (Lake Garda) – Lake Como. 

    American buffet breakfast.  Morning departure to Verona to see the town of Romeo and Juliet.  Then continue to Sirmione, free time for lunch and then proceed onto Lake Como.  Dinner and overnight.

    Day 6 – Saturday:  Como – Milan or Rome*. 

    American buffet breakfast.  Departure to Milan with a panoramic tour of the city and end of the tour Central Railway Station (transfer to hotel or airport in Milan is not included).

    *Possibility to return to Rome “Free transfer”.  Clients may enjoy a transfer from Milan to Rome at no extra charge.  The Bus and tour guide return to Rome at the end of tour.  From Milan the bus will leave approx at 11:30am. Arrival in Rome by 18:00pm approx.
